More news from Riley's first week

Today was Riley's very first bath! It was not as
traumatic as we expected. Sorry that the pictures are
out of order!

Poor Jakey had quite an eventful week, as you

can tell. The doctor thinks he fractured his

scaffoid bone (sp?). We have another appointment on

Monday, so hopefully they'll have some good

news for us and Jake won't have to spend the

next several weeks in a cast...

Bathtime.....If you look at Riley's right hand, you

can see how tightly he was gripping onto me. He's

a very strong little boy!

Riley had his second doctor's appointment on Friday and has gained three whole ounces since Monday!! He is starting to be more awake and alert during the day, so hopefully he'll start sleeping in longer stretches at night (that may be a pipe dream! :-) He and Mommy had such a wonderful time this week, visiting with Grandma Ciccone, Grandma and Grandpa Rich, Meme, Auntie Sara and Cousin Taylor! Everyone has been such a big help during Mommy's recovery!
